The Lota Room features a queen bed, antique English armoire, working fireplace, sitting area, and a second floor view of the landscaped front lawn. The private bathroom has a shower and pedestal sink.

Lota was the quiet sister, an accomplished artist. She had several degrees and was awarded a posthumous doctorate from Columbia University. She lived in the family home until her death at age 89.
